Getting ScumWare out of your system is not as easy as the ScumWare spin doctors would lead us to believe. Because free programs such as KaZaA and iMesh install ScumWare, SpyWare and other useless programs, just knowing that you were successful in eradicating them is not a sure thing. The ScumWare programmers keep changing their tactics in an attempt to get around pages like this one, thereby allowing them to leave invisible programs running on your system.

The free program Ad-Aware listed in this presentation will also eradicate TopText from your system. It is free and much easier to use than getting rid of TopText manually.
