Manually Removing Ezula/TopText
Manually removing the KaZaA/Ezula/TopText ScumWare is not complex and is the only way to be certain that you have completely removed all of the components of this ScumWare.
Note that simply running the Uninstall program supplied with TopText only appears to actually uninstall the software according to the experience of many of our ScumWare team members. In most cases the necessary files are left hidden on your system to continue spying on you and frequently will reinstall the full TopText program at a future date.
The free program Ad-Aware listed in this presentation will also eradicate TopText from your system. It is free and much easier to use than getting rid of TopText manually.
Start Removing TopText

From your Taskbar select:
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs |

In the Add/Remove Programs Properties pop-up window:
Locate one of the following program names:
TopText
HotText
ContextPro
Select the program name you find by clicking on the name in the white window.
Click OK to begin the uUninstall process.
These are all different names for the same ScumWare program.
If you locate more than one of these program names, repeat this step for each of the program names.
