We don't yet have a complete answer for you to completely get rid of the many files created when Gator installs and during its constant "upgrading" process. They appear to change their technology and approach on a near-daily basis to be where the most advertising dollars can be hijacked from site oerators.

By running the uninstall program that is provided by Gator will get rid of the obvious parts of their program. You do that by accessing your system's "Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs" as shown to the right.

This is the program you want to uninstall. Gator.

After uninstalling Gator, you will want to download and run the free program Ad-aware which will remove most, or all, of the harmful software remaining on your system as a result of your system's infection by Gator.
